Health Sciences & Technology Corridor – The Health Sciences & Technology is the first area where the City’s marketing of the BEC concept is taking hold. This corridor is anchored by Idaho State University’s Treasure Valley Campus, the educational leader in health sciences in the State of Idaho, as well as such as St Luke’s Hospital, Bodybuilding.com, Blue Cross, Crucial Technology, and Complex Care Hospital. The corridor includes major business parks such as Pinebridge, The Portico, Silverstone, El Dorado, and Gramercy.
To date the City’s successful Economic Excellence efforts have connected businesses, developers, and educational/research institutions. The Health Sciences & Technology Corridor will benefit from coordinated marketing efforts, education, and research to support local and anticipated health sciences and technology businesses.
